Silk Screen: Asian Arts and Cultural Organization will feature 25 films at its seventh annual Asian American Film Festival, May 11-20. The festival is a showcase of Asian films and filmmakers with origins in Asian cultures. There will be 48 showings at three locations in the city: The Harris Theater, the Melwood Screening Room and the Regent Square Theater. Manu Narayan, star actor of the film “Good Night, Good Morning,” will host a Q&A session immediately following each screening of the film. The film will screen on Sunday, May 13 at the Harris Theater at 3:00 PM and Wednesday, May 16 at the Regent Square Theater at 7:00 PM. The Pittsburgh-born actor, singer and musician, has acted in films such as “The Love Guru” and television shows such as “The Sopranos” and “Law and Order: SVU.”
The Pittsburgh Society of Artists Guild (PSA) presents an exhibit at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts (PCA) titled “Tone It UP”.
