Double Door Gallery holds events every Weds. evening in the gallery. Events include Figure Drawing/Painting sessions, Open Mic Night, Chinese calligraphy, Still Life Drawing and much more. Most events are free and all are open to the public.

Spend some quality time with the best dressed residents of the National Aviary! Participants learn about penguins’ natural history, adaptations, feeding and nesting habits, and the challenges they face surviving in a rapidly changing environment. The ToonSeum presents “Will Eisner's New York,” a rare collection of original works by legendary comics pioneer Will Eisner, each chronicling the artist's informal history of the city that shaped many of his illustrated masterpieces.
