The performing arts are always in the spotlight in Pittsburgh. In the dynamic downtown Cultural District which hosts some 2,300 performances, or at neighborhood theaters in the south and east of the city, the theater, music and dance scene is unparalleled!
Made in America! The Pittsburgh Public Theater presents thrilling drama and side-splitting comedy by American writers all season long at the intimate and engaging O'Reilly Theater. Next up, Other Desert Cities, the new Broadway sensation that takes an entertaining look at unruly family politics, through June 30.
The Pittsburgh CLO presents Side by Side by Sondheim, a dazzling collection of songs by Broadway's musical master, Stephen Sondheim. You'll laugh, cry and fall in love with music from many of his very best works including: Company, Follies, A Little Night Music and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. through Aug 18 at the Cabaret at Theater Square.
