The David Bradford House was the site of a pivotal moment in the Whiskey Rebellion, the first challenge of authority to the young Federal government in the late 1700s. The home also is an excellent example of colonial architecture and decoration.

Remember the path for freedom at LeMoyne House, Pennsylvania’s first National Historic Landmark of the Underground Railroad. Dr. Francis LeMoyne’s home was a doctor’s office, apothecary, and shelter for slaves on their journey north to freedom.

Take a ride into the past as you roll into the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum. Tour the Trolley Barn and new Trolley Display Building, where craftsmen preserve Western Pennsylvania’s transportation history. Hop on for a ride and hear the clang of the bell one more time before visiting the gift shop.

From Museum Road, go northwest and turn left onto N Main Street Extension, which becomes N Main Street. Turn right onto Oak Grove Road. Turn slight right onto Henderson Avenue/PA-18 and continue to follow PA-18 for about eight miles. Turn slight left onto Avella Road/PA-50 and continue to follow PA-50 for about eight miles. Stay straight to go onto Cross Creek Road. Turn left onto Browntown Road. Turn right onto Meadowcroft Road.
