Shenango Trail
An 8-mile trail along the Erie Extension Canal and the Shenango River Lake. Experience the dazzling views of the Shenango River Lake on the upper end of the lake. -
Seth Myers Nature Trail
A 1/2 mile self guided National Recreation Trail located northeast of the Shenango Dam. At Mahaney Recreation Area there are 17 numbered posts with pamphlets inviting visitors to learn about the varied habitats and the relationships between plants, animals, and man. The Seth Myers Trail was the first trail to receive an honorable mention in the landscape architecture category of the U.S. Army Chief of Engineers Distinguished Design Award. -
Coonie Trail + Amphitheatre
A 1/2 mile self guided nature trail with 15 stations to learn interesting fact about plants and their role in the environment. The trail and amphitheater are located on the north side of Shenango River Lake and west of Route 18. Interpretive programs will be offered throughout the summer at the amphitheater. Every Sunday there is a non-denominational church service held at the amphitheater or a nearby picnic pavilion for campers.

Maurice K. Goddard State Park
A 12-mile loop, moderate hiking, paved trail and byway. This scenic trail is composed of two trails. The Wilhelm Trail follows the North shoreline of Lake Wilhelm. Hiking, biking, and snowmobiling are permitted. This section of the trail has steep-short runs that can be difficult for some bikers to climb. The Cross-country Ski Trail is on the South Shorline. Cross-country skiing, hiking, and biking are permitted. Complete the loop by utilizing one of Pennsylvania's Scenic Byways, Lake Wilhelm Road, to connect the South and North Shorelines. The combined trails run from boat launch four to the marina and continue to Dugan's Run.
