McConnell’s Mill State Park, in Lawrence County, encompasses 2,546 acres of the spectacular Slippery Rock Creek Gorge. The park features a covered bridge and a Grist Mill. Many kayakers, hikers, and other adventurers find this park excitingly challenging.

Head north on McConnell’s Mill Road toward US-422. Turn left at US-422. Turn left at Fox Road. The park will be on your left.

See our exhibits of transportation memorabilia plus a unique gift shop. For the past 16 years, the Harlansburg Station has remained a private museum, receiving no state or federal funding. The owner and his family welcome people from Pittsburgh, the tri-state area, and around the world to share his love of transportation.
