This historic mansion was built in 1826 by a Philadelphia sea captain. Constructed of dressed sandstone blocks, red oak floors supported by hand-hewn beams, and boasting a third floor ballroom, the mansion serves as headquarters for the Beaver County Historical Research and Landmarks Foundation. Tours, educational programs, reenactments held. The mansion is open M-F 10am-2pm or by appointment. Admission free, donations accepted.

Old Economy Village, the third and final home of the Harmony Society (1804-1905), is a National Historic Landmark. Interpreters take visitors through the museum building, cabinet shop, community kitchen, wine cellar, baker house, store and George and Frederick Rapp houses, all built between 1825 and 1830. Over 16,000 Harmonist-owned objects are displayed in 17 original buildings. Call for seasonal tour schedule. Closed Mondays and some winter holidays.
