Visit the Air Heritage Museum and allow aircraft from the past to guide you through the rich history of flight. Aircraft restoration and "working museum" specializing in WWII planes and artifacts. Hours: 10am - 4pm. Donations: $2 / person.

BeaveRun MotorSports Complex

BeaveRun MotorSports Complex is a world-class facility that fulfills the desires of all motorsports enthusiasts in a safe environment. BeaveRun includes two road courses, one approximately 1.6 miles in length, while the other is longer and more technical with significant elevation changes and complex corners.

Features include an ice arena, four tennis courts and a walking / jogging track. Other facilities include a ballfield complex (one baseball and five softball fields), two horse rinks, 20 horseshoe courts, walking trails, a 22-acre lake, picnic tables, playgrounds, an outdoor activity center with an in-line skating rink, plus basketball and four tennic courts.

Darlington Polo Club

Established in 1937, the Darlington Polo Club plays matches "under the lights" throughout the summer and is the oldest continuous polo club in existence. The club offers a family-oriented atmosphere for new and old fans alike. Admission: $3. Friday evenings at 8pm. Season begins last Friday in May.

Lapic Winery

Now in its 26th year, Lapic Winery is the first and only winery in Beaver County. The Winery is open year-round except for major holidays. Hours: Jan-Feb: M-Sa 10am-5pm, Su 1pm-5pm; Mar-Dec: M-F 10a,-6pm, Sa 10am-5pm, Su 1pm-5pm. Admission fee. Adults only please. Bus parking available.

Merrick Art Gallery

Established for teaching / exhibition, the gallery houses more than 200 paintings, primarily from the American Hudson River School and the European Romantic Period. Hours: Tu-Sa 10am-4:30pm; Su 1pm-4pm. Summer Hours: W-Sa 10am-4pm. Call for schedule of events and hours. Admission free. Groups welcome.

The Vicary Mansion

This historic mansion was built in 1826 by a Philadelphia sea captain. Constructed of dressed sandstone blocks, red oak floors supported by hand-hewn beams, and boasting a third floor ballroom, the mansion serves as headquarters for the Beaver County Historical Research and Landmarks Foundation. Tours, educational programs, reenactments held. The mansion is open M-F 10am-2pm or by appointment. Admission free, donations accepted.

Old Economy Village

Old Economy Village, the third and final home of the Harmony Society (1804-1905), is a National Historic Landmark. Interpreters take visitors through the museum building, cabinet shop, community kitchen, wine cellar, baker house, store and George and Frederick Rapp houses, all built between 1825 and 1830. Over 16,000 Harmonist-owned objects are displayed in 17 original buildings. Call for seasonal tour schedule. Closed Mondays and some winter holidays.

Raccoon Creek State Park

One of the largest and most beautiful in the Commonwealth. A centrally located 101-acre lake provides opportunities for active recreation as well as other activities such as photographing and viewing waterfowl and other species of wildlife. Activities include boating, fishing, hunting, swimming, picnic areas and pavilions, bridle trails, a historical mineral spring, wildflower reserve, five miles of trails, a nature center and organized group camps. Family camping area and rustic cabins available Apr-Dec. Winter activities and modern rental cabins available year-round.
