There are lots of cool fairs, festivals and events going on throughout the Pittsburgh region during Autumn that offer plenty of food and seasonal fun. Trax Farms Hayride
  • Trax Farms - Finleyville, PA

    • Trax opens up its farm for pumpkin picking, apple tasting in its orchards, food booths from local bakers and cooks, and a 2.5-acre cornfield maze. Stop by the Cafe for a fresh apple dumpling and a mug of hot apple cider before heading home.
  • Triple B Farms' Fall Family Apple & Pumpkin Festival - Monongahela, PA

    • If you're looking for a fall festival mixed with a carnival check out Triple B Farms this fall. Their festival includes standards like a pick-your-own pumpkin patch and hayrides on the farm, and adds some fun but unexpected activities like the Liberty Tube and Squirrel Hill Tunnel Slides, a haunted barn, and more.

  • Pittsburgh Abides Big Lebowski Fest - Lawrenceville

    • Movie screening, activities, contests, and live music. Activities include: bowling, ringer toss, dance lessons and costume contests.
  • Fort Ligonier Days - Ligonier, PA
    • October 9-11 
    • Three-day festival that commemorates the Battle of Fort Ligonier, a key engagement of the French & Indian War. Festival features living history encampment, music, crafts, food, Kids Korner and more.
  • ReelQ - Pittsburgh LGBT Film Festival - Various Theaters

    • An annual celebration of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered writers, directors, actors, and their work drawing hundreds of movie-goers to the ten days of high quality entertainment, including feature films, shorts, and videos from the hottest national and international LGBT filmmakers of our time.
  • Houston Pumpkin Festival- Houston, PA

  • Pumpkin Patch Trolley - Pennsylvania Trolley Museum

  • 24th Annual PumpkinFest 2015 - East Commons Park, North Side

  • South Side Historical Village "Fall Social" - Hookstown Fairgrounds

    • Take a step back in time! Located at the Hookstown Fair Grounds is a fabulous historical village consisting of a one-room schoolhouse, outdoor bake oven, blacksmith shop, general store, doctor's office, barn and covered bridge. Cookies and bread will baking in the outdoor oven along with sheep shearing, apple cider press and a barn dance.
