Pittsburgh’s Hospitality, Meeting, And Event Industry Organizations Plan Their Own Event
PITTSBURGH - More than 200 local hospitality and special events professionals from 10 organizations in Pittsburgh are attending "Break the Ice," an evening of networking, discussion - and some fun - on Tuesday, February 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel. "The spirit of collaboration represented by members of ten organizations is what makes Pittsburgh such a unique and special place," says Craig Davis, president and CEO of VisitPITTSBURGH. "These groups work to improve the hospitality and events industries in our community, and therefore create better experiences for visitors and residents alike."
The icebreaker is a collaborative effort, bringing together 10 dynamic organizations to talk about their respective products and help further promote Pittsburgh as an impressive destination for meetings, events and visitation. The event will showcase the local tourism and meeting industry and aims to promote improvements within, which ultimately improves the City.
Guests will have the opportunity to mingle with their peers, learn about upcoming professional events, and take home some prizes! Entertainment will be provided by DJ Sosa.
